Indra Mani Pandey is the new representative of India at UN, World Health Organisation (WHO), United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and almost 25 more international forums. He previously led Indian mission at Damascus, Cairo, Islamabad and many more.
Rajiv K Chander was the previous ambassador of India at these forums. Pakistan allegedly countered India on reorganisation of Jammu & Kashmir at UN Human Rights council. Thus, it can be observed as a strategic step by the Indian government.
