The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry have initiated a new scheme where loan will be granted to the street vendors through a portal, pmsvanidhi.moha.gov.in.
On above mentioned portal, one can join their Aadhaar card and can pursue with loan application.
Loan of 10,000 rupees will be provided to vendors who had their business operational before 24th March. There is no need for collateral. The loan taken can be repayable in monthly instalments. Repayment of money on time will subsidize them with7% interest per annum.
