In the case Chirag Chanani v. Union of India and Ors, Bombay High Court on Wednesday issued a notice to the State and the Railways Commissioner to explain its stand in the issue through an affidavit. The petitioner stated that the Lawyers are the means of delivering justice and they directly deal with the public at large so their service shall be considered as essential service and the courts are functioning now so it is inevitable to consider the travel provisions of Lawyers.
